Description

The ANALOG AD9959 RF Signal Generator is a versatile 4-channel DDS module designed for high-performance signal generation applications. Operating at 500 MSPS, it offers four synchronized DDS channels, each with independent control over frequency, phase, and amplitude. This module ensures excellent channel-to-channel isolation (>65 dB) and matched latencies for changes in frequency, phase, and amplitude. It supports linear sweeping capabilities and provides up to 16 levels of modulation for frequency, phase, and amplitude, which are pin-selectable.

Equipped with four integrated 10-bit digital-to-analog converters (DACs), the AD9959 allows for individually programmable DAC full-scale currents, achieving a frequency tuning resolution of 0.12 Hz or better, 14-bit phase offset resolution, and 10-bit output amplitude scaling resolution. The enhanced data throughput via the Serial I/O port interface (SPI) further enhances its performance and flexibility.
