The CHINT NB3LEG-B16 Type A Residual Current Operated Circuit Breaker with Over-current Protection (RCBO) is a reliable and compact safety device designed for protecting electrical circuits and ensuring personal safety in residential, commercial, and light industrial environments. With a 16A rated current, B Curve tripping characteristic, and a short-circuit breaking capacity of 6kA, this RCBO is tailored for circuits handling lower loads, making it suitable for common household appliances, lighting, and small office equipment.

The RCBO is equipped with a residual operating current (I∆n) of ≤ 30 mA, providing additional protection against electric shock in the event of direct contact with live parts. This protection is especially crucial for circuits where personal safety is a priority.

It supports two tripping classes:

• AC class for sinusoidal, alternating currents, ensuring the RCBO trips whether the current is quickly applied or increases gradually. This makes it suitable for standard alternating current (AC) systems.
• A class for sinusoidal and pulsed DC residual currents, providing extended protection in environments with more complex loads, such as those that include electronic devices.
