SCHAEFFER’S (since 1839) – Synthetic Food Grade Grease H-1 is a full synthetic, extreme pressure, anti-wear, high-temperature grease formulated for food, feed, and pharmaceutical processing and packaging equipment operating under high loads and exposure to moisture. This bentone-based grease is crafted with the highest quality 100% pure paraffin, highly refined polyalphaolefin (PAO), and synthetic base oils, along with a unique blend of USDA and FDA acceptable preservatives. These components help control and inhibit the growth of bacteria, yeast, and molds that may come into contact with the grease during use.

Synthetic Food Grade Grease H-1 is perfect for lubricating ball, roller, journal, and sliding bearings, as well as chain applications, where there is a potential for incidental contact with food, foodstuffs, drinking water, potable water, or groundwater. It meets the USDA 1998 H-1 guidelines and is NSF registered, ensuring it is safe for use in food-related environments.

This grease offers excellent resistance to acidic compounds, oxidation, and thermal degradation, ensuring long-lasting protection even in harsh conditions.
