The LAPP – 12040099 ÖLFLEX® SMART 108 is a highly flexible and durable control cable designed for demanding industrial applications. Featuring a 4-core configuration (4G1), each core is constructed with 1 mm² bare copper conductors made from fine-wire design (IEC 60228 Class 5), providing superior conductivity and flexibility. The cable is built with high-quality PVC materials for both core insulation and outer sheath, offering a combination of durability, reliability, and safety for various fixed installation uses.

With a nominal voltage of U0/U: 300/500 V AC RMS and a test voltage of 4 kV, this control cable is well-suited for electrical control systems that require stable and reliable performance. The maximum conductor resistance is 19.5 Ω/km at 20°C, with low mutual capacitance of 117 nF/km and inductance of 0.669 mH/km at 800 Hz, making it ideal for signal and control transmission.

The cable is flame-retardant in accordance with IEC 60332-1-2, ensuring safety in case of fire, and is chemically resistant, making it suitable for use in harsh environments. The grey PVC outer sheath provides additional protection while maintaining a clean and professional appearance. Although it is not suitable for continuous flexing or torsional loads, it is designed for occasional movement, with a minimum bending radius of 26 mm for stationary applications and 97.5 mm for occasional flexing.
